Here are some samples of the furniture we sell, together with a guide to typical prices (all exclusive of VAT). All of the photos were taken in situ in our shop. We can’t guarantee a particular item is available, but we can usually get you something similar. We sell furniture unstripped in its original painted condition.

Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian chests of drawers (£140–£375), 3-height and 4-height, with brass, wood or glass handles. Stripped pine (some with original paint), mahogany or oak. The chest shown is £375.

Chest (£325): small Georgian painted chest with drawers and central cupboard.

Blanket boxes (£100–£180): sturdy and versatile, they can be used for storing not just blankets and clothes, but books, papers and toys, and are easily rewaxed to keep them looking good. The box shown is £165.

Wardrobes (£300–£850): we have a fantastic supply; they are easily moved, and we can even deliver them to attic bedrooms! They have good hanging depth, and some have mirrored doors as well as shelves and drawers. The wardrobe shown is £775.

Dressers (£500–£1800). The dresser shown here is an English mid-19th century scumbled dresser grained to look like oak (£1800); we also have Irish, Welsh, and some French, Hungarian and Czech dressers. We have a wide variety, including dressers with open racks, backs, and cupboard tops with either glazed or wooden doors, in a range of sizes.

Dressing tables (£300–£375). That shown is late Victorian, in original condition, grained to look like burr walnut (£375). We also have stripped pine tables.

Tables, in all shapes and sizes from wine tables to large farmhouse tables (£100–£1200). The table shown is a breakfast table to seat four (£300). We have tables in a variety of different woods ranging in size from wine tables to large farmhouse tables, from a Georgian mahogany flip-top candle stand to a scrubbed pine kitchen table to seat up to fourteen.

Chairs and stools (£35–£400). We have sets of kitchen chairs, rocking chairs, Victorian child’s correction chairs, high chairs, children’s chairs, Captain’s chairs, and stools of different shapes and sizes from miniature candle stands to tall kitchen seats.

Rocking chair (£325): mid-19th century spindle-backed chair, in original colour with a lovely patina.

Oak and pine racks (£275–£750); that shown is an early 19th century oak rack (£425).

Kitchen antiques. We have many small antiques including English pottery, spongeware, kitchenalia, paint boxes, dairy items and baskets.

Unusual decorative items, including unusual lamps. Stock is always changing and interesting things come in all the time.

In addition, we stock bedside cupboards, kitchen and dining tables, chairs, cupboards, bookcases and desks, and even old conservatory furniture and garden tools!

We also have a large stock of stripped pine doors, and can even make plank doors constructed from reclaimed timber to your own measurements.
